The Halfway



About Us


Located between the beautiful villages of Coggeshall and Kelvedon in Essex.

Our aim is to provide good food, The emphasis is on flavour and quality of ingredients, We

pride ourselves on providing fresh, locally sourced fish and meat we prepare, all in our kitchen,

and in addition to traditional British food we enjoy producing a number of authentic Asian and

Indian dishes and if there is something you see on our menu that

you wish cooked differently, we are happy to accommodate any reasonable request.

The front of house team at The Halfway will warmly welcome you and ensure that your visit is

an enjoyable experience and one that you will want to repeat. In our bar we have a good

selection of beers, wine and spirits.

There is ample room to sit and we have a comfortable lounge area for those waiting to eat or just relaxing.

The Halfway is a venue for all occasions offering a la carte, light lunches & Sunday roasts.

It can also be used for private functions in our Coggeshall end which can seat up to 34 people.

We are taking bookings for Christmas parties of 10 to 32 guests

For bookings of over 10 people we offer this menu at a fixed price of

2 courses for £20* or 3 course for £26*

*A supplement of £4 will be added for steak & £2 for Skate wing
